Field samples were collected biweekly from a coastal site in Agios Kosmas, over a 26-year period between November 1988 and April 2015, as well as, with gaps, from June 2015 to June 2018.

Data time-series of ~20 years (1997-2018)of seagrass Posidonia oceanica annual production covering sixty sites across the Greek Seas. For the same time period, annual sea surface temperature and sea surface temperature of August data are also given.
